CValdo believes that each project should carefully consider sustainability tools such as life-cycle cost analyses, value engineering, and the Envision sustainable infrastructure rating sytem to optimize project benefits for our clients. Our organization is committed to implementing sustainability into each aspect of our operations.

The Envision sustainable infrastructure rating system examines project sustainability over five categories including Quality of Life, Leadership, Resource Allocation, Natural World, and Climate and Resilience. Envision is administered through the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure (ISI). Successful projects are rated with an award level of Verified, Silver, Gold, or Platinum. Projects are assessed to determine if they’ve made a positive social, economic, and environmental impact on a community. CValdo’s role has included performing project reviews to validate that the criteria are met to verify a project’s award level.
