CValdo prepares PS&E for the restoration of a section of South Las Chollas Creek in the Encanto neighborhood of San Diego. The project included the replacement of a concrete-lined channel with a natural earthen watercourse, planting, and establishment of native riparian plant species, alleviation of flooding by enabling conveyance of the 100-year flood, lowering flood velocities by utilizing a grade control structure, a public ADA-accessible trail with habitat and water quality informational signage, and slip lining of an existing failing sewer main. Project awards included:
