CValdo has joined the Parsons team to provide professional engineering plan check services in support of Brightline West’s proposed high-speed rail (HSR) project connecting Rancho Cucamonga, CA and Las Vegas, NV. CValdo will support the State of California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) under one, or more, of five segment management teams that will provide engineering review and oversight of plans, specifications and estimates prepared by Brightline’s design consultants. Services include the review of design plans for reconfiguration of portions of the freeway and interchanges along I-15 to accommodate construction of the proposed HSR system within Caltrans right-of-way as well as review of supporting hydrologic and hydraulic calculations for drainage improvements associated with the project.
